If pigmentation and uneven skin tone are a problem for you, the winter months are the perfect time to find a solution!

Skin Pigmentation – dark spots, freckles and discolouration – is now one of the biggest skincare concerns, affecting over half of Australian women. You don’t have to live with it! Pigmention is caused mainly due to uneven melanin production in our skin, which shows up on our face – primarily forehead, cheeks and around the mouth. Aspects – Pigment Punch: The great thing about this at home product is it has a break through ingredient called Tyrostat which is used to reduce the signs of age spots, pigmentation, liver spots, red and brown acne scars as well as generally even out skin tone. This can be combined with a salon only Pigment Punch Peel to provide serious results!

Skin Ceuticals – Pigment Regulator: This product lightens and reduces pigmentation. It also breaks up melanin clusters on the skins surface, as well as inhibiting the production of excess melanin, which as mentioned previously is one of the major causes of skin pigmentation.

ASAP’s – Super C Serum: The Super C Serum contains the maximum potency, 23% pure Vitamin C. The vitamin C in this product helps protect against the harmful effects of ultraviolet light (the suns rays) as well as increases the effectiveness of sunscreens, reducing the chance of further pigmentation forming. Additional benefits this product offers are increased  firmness and overall  smoothness of the skins surface, reducing fine lines and minimising the effects of premature aging. Who wouldn’t love firmer and smoother skin?!

Cosmedix – Refine: This products contains a form of retinol that conditions, increases cell turnover, smoothes and evens out skin tone. It can be used to treat sun damage, redness, pigmentation and general aging as it contains a potent Vitamin A which allows great results without the irritations of normal vitamin A.

Skin Ceuticals – Serum 15 AOX+: This is another product that contains high potency Vitamin C which in this case is specifically designed to restore healthy looking skin. It defends against environmental damage as well as preventing signs of premature aging. The best feature of this product is that it is fast absorbing and once it’s absorbed it remains actively working on the skin for 72 hours which works great when combined with a sunscreen. This is a new BeautyHouse treatment that I have personally been doing on my clients for about 10years!  It’s great for so many skin concerns! Initially I started doing it to treat acne but have since found that almost all skin types react really well by tweaking a few of the products used in it to better suit their skin conditions! It’s calming, healing, exfoliating & hydrating! Favourite Treatment: Supersonic Microdermabrassion Treatment

In my opinion, this treatment is one of the best ‘steam cleaning’ treatments ever designed.
The Supersonic device is a metal probe (bit like a butter knife) we prepare the skin by cleansing thoroughly, then we add a skin dissolvent to loosen surface skin cells. We then run the probe, which vibrates 1000x a second with sound waves, slowly across the skin. Everything that has lodged itself inside the pores over the years simply slips out! But wait… there’s more, after we clean out the pores with the supersonic device, we turn to the Microdermabrassion machine to buff and refine the surface! A few sessions is required if you have a lot of blockage!
Awesome results!!!!!
Makeup, sunscreens and age are designed to STICK to the surface! Problem is… they don’t tell us how to get it off! Skin blockage is one of the biggest problems woman face today and the Supersonic Micro is needed by everyone in my opinion!
